Teaching in Ireland

Today we taught in an integrated Irish school. We were split up into different classrooms and I was able to work in a kindergarten/first grade classroom. This experience opened my eyes and allowed me to experience the integrated Irish education. The school was absolutely amazing and the teachers were fantastic. Based off my experience today I prefer the integrated Irish education over American education. The teacher I worked with had a good relationship with her students. She would speak and the students would do as she said. This school had a special flow to it, which made it even more interesting to observe. So far this was my favorite experience in Ireland.
